Egypt, often referred to as the "Cradle of Civilization," holds a unique and powerful place in the world's history and within my heart. Its legacy is a testament to human achievement, innovation, and the enduring impact of a culture that dates back millennia.

For me, The Queen represents my profound love for Egypt and its history is more than just an admiration for ancient monuments; it's a fascination with a civilization that has shaped the course of human progress.

The allure of Egypt lies not only in its awe-inspiring pyramids, majestic temples, and enigmatic hieroglyphs but also in the stories of its remarkable individuals. Among them, the iconic Queen Nefertiti stands out. Her beauty, poise, and grace have captured hearts across centuries, becoming a symbol of timeless elegance. 

My infatuation with Nefertiti goes beyond her external allure; it's a recognition of the power and strength she embodied as a woman in a society where she held a prominent role beside her husband, Pharaoh Akhenaten.

Nefertiti's story is a reminder that women have always played pivotal roles in shaping history, and their beauty radiates from within. We are all queens in our own right, possessing the inner strength and wisdom to overcome life's challenges and pursue our dreams. 

Society often imposes unrealistic standards of beauty and pressures that can erode our self-worth and happiness. It's crucial to resist these negative influences and embrace our unique beauty, both externally and internally.

The Queen is a piece that embodies just that. Egypt's history teaches us that greatness can emerge from the most unlikely places, and our potential as individuals is limitless. The resilience and ingenuity of the ancient Egyptians have left an indelible mark on our world. As we admire the grandeur of their achievements, we should also draw inspiration from their enduring spirit.

In the grand tapestry of history, Egypt's significance cannot be overstated. Its contributions to science, mathematics, art, and culture have reverberated across time and continue to influence our modern world.

My love for Egypt is not just a love for its past but a recognition of its enduring legacy in the present.

The Queen inspires you to draw inspiration from Egypt's rich history and embrace our roles as queens in our own lives, prioritizing self-worth, happiness, and the pursuit of our dreams despite societal pressures and the pressures we may also so unfairly place upon ourselves as well and setting an intention of appreciating the perfect imperfections that are YOU and finding happiness and love, within yourself.

What does The Queen evoke within you?

The Mind•Full•Ness® Collection represents the many pieces of me - the good, the fun… and the not so fun life experiences that remain as lingering memories of mine or that are a reflection of some innermost facet of my being; while others are just random concepts that for some reason my mind couldn’t resist bringing to fruition and literally can be interpreted as or represent SO many other powerful ideas and concepts life's journey has revealed.

There are so many common, individual objects, things and baubles that when brought together and placed in this medium of expression - within each face - create what I believe is truly an unexpected but amazingly unique final piece of art.

This has been a much needed therapeutic and reenergizing passion project of mine and I truly feel that it’s helped me process and overcome some of the challenges that have been holding me back while inspiring me to stretch and grow, reclaim my artistic voice, realign my energy and rediscover who I am and what drives me in life.
