Commissions are accepted selectively. When available, they are approached as slow work—guided by clarity, alignment, and long-term presence.
Commissioned Work
Courtney welcomes a limited number of commissioned sculpture projects developed through conversation, material meaning, and site or story context.
Commissions are created outside the original 112-work collection. Some may grow naturally from the Mind·Full·Ness® language while others may stand entirely on their own; that relationship is defined intentionally for each work.
Commissioned work is not replication or customization of an existing sculpture. Each piece is original, artist-led, and developed through dialogue, intention, and trust.
HOW THE COMMISSION PROCESS WORKS
✧ Initial Consultation
Every commission begins with a private consultation. We discuss intention, emotional tone, scale, palette, and any symbolic elements you wish to explore. This conversation establishes alignment — not a blueprint.
✧ Proposal & Deposit
Following our consultation, you will receive a written proposal outlining scope, timeline, and investment. A 50% deposit secures your commission and initiates the creation phase.
✧ Creation Phase
Your sculpture is developed over time, with periodic updates shared so you remain connected to the process. These updates are observational — not approval checkpoints — allowing the work to evolve organically.
✧ Completion & Delivery
Once complete, final payment is due prior to delivery or shipment. Your artwork arrives professionally packaged and ready for placement.
REVISIONS & POLICIES
Minor refinements may be made during the process when structurally appropriate. Significant revisions after completion may require additional consideration.
Because commissioned works are created uniquely for you, refunds are not available once work has begun.

AUTHENTICITY
Every commissioned artwork is an original Couture Underground sculpture and includes a signed certificate of authenticity.
No reproductions.
No editions.
No replicas.
VIEWING OPTIONS
Local collectors may request an in-person studio viewing in the Washington, D.C. area.
Non-local collectors are invited to schedule a private virtual walkthrough, offering a detailed, guided experience of the work from multiple angles.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING
Accepted payment methods include major credit cards and digital wallets. Final payment is collected prior to delivery.
All sculptures are professionally packed using custom-fit materials designed to protect the work during transit and allow for long-term storage if needed.

Commissioned works are accepted on a limited basis to preserve depth, focus, and integrity of process. Availability varies throughout the year. When commissions are temporarily closed, inquiries are still welcomed for future consideration.
